Hearing Instrument Specialist
Molly Thrush is the Hearing Instrument Specialist in Round Rock, Texas. She also serves as the Regional Clinic Leader in the central Texas area. Molly is originally from Nashville, Tennessee and attended the University of Mississippi. She was drawn to the hearing industry in college and she started working at New Sound right after graduating in 2015.
What Molly loves most about saving hearing lives is watching each patient transform as they are able to live a more fulfilling life once fit with hearing aids. When patients come back and tell her how they are able to hear their granddaughter or participate in activities again is extremely rewarding to her. Molly knows every patient has different needs and is excellent at finding a solution for everyone!
Outside of saving hearing lives, Molly loves traveling, hiking, cooking, visiting family, and playing with her French Bulldog, Lily!

My name is Dylan, and I grew in Blanco, Texas. I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2019. I spend my free time walking my dog around the lake, playing pickleball, and trying new restaurants in Austin. I have a passion for helping people find a better quality of life through personal connection and finding a solution. I love watching my patients gain confidence again!

Amy started her career with Starkey in 2005, as a receptionist is our Honesdale, Pennsylvania office. Through the years her job with the company has changed several times from receptionist to owner to bookkeeper to patient care coordinator, and now she’s expanding into the clinical side of patient care.
Amy is now an Audio Technician in our Austin, Texas office and is in licensure to become a Hearing Instrument Specialist. While she spends her days making sure that everyone is hearing as well as they should be, she enjoys woodworking, paddle boarding and just being outside with her friends, her husband of 27 years and her 2 sons.
Elizabeth Murphey

Elizabeth “Libby” Murphey is an Audio Technician who is working on getting licensed. She is from Houston, Texas and has over 11 years of experience in healthcare with a specialization in medical equipment. She is passionate about educating and helping patients understand their condition to help improve their quality of life, and to overcome barriers with proper accommodations. Always eager to learn, she understands that there is no one size that fits all approach for healthcare, and everyone has unique needs.
She enjoys spending time with her family, friends, her cat Selina, and solving puzzles.
Katherine Soto

Katherine Soto is an Audio Technician. She is originally from San Antonio, Texas and attended the University of Texas at Austin. Katherine graduated with a Communication Sciences and Disorders degree in 2022 and joined our team to further her lifelong interest in the breakdown of communication after working closely with her own Audiologist growing up, sparking her passion for hearing health.
Katherine recognizes the importance of hearing in order to make connections between the world and the individuals this company strives to help. She believes everyone should have the chance to experience life without the worries of a communication barrier and will do her very best to meet the hearing needs of every client.
In her free time, Katherine enjoys spending time with her tight knit group of family and friends, lounging with her orange cat, Harold, and trying out local Austin coffee shops for the best latte.
